Email to Mark 7.7.09

Well I would send you a letter but you NEVER tell me where I'm supposed to send the bloody thing. So here is an email

• Veg progress report
Potatoes doing very well, beetroots also coming along nicely, onions are standing proud in their little beds and seem happy as do the Garlic, Carrots – hmmmmm ok but not thriving and the same for the parsnips. Cucumbers are gobsmackingly fantastic – had a few and still loads to come off and finally (seen as I can tell your excited) the tomatoes are beginning to ripen and are succulent and sweet and bloody lovely.

• Pond Progress Report
Nothing happening there since your Dad did his back in. Stephen has announced that ‘he doesn’t do digging’ he also ‘doesn’t cut lawns’ well in fact he doesn’t do anything really. However your Dad and I are both off next week so he is hoping to drag Stephen bodily outside to help him finish it off.. Bloody frogs will be moving in before its finished at this rate.

Booked a holiday in Tunisia for September and a mid week break at Centre Parks in January, moaning a lot about a lot of things, car, dogs, Ollie, friends – the usual

• Passing out report

So far there will be me, Dad, Stacey, Stephen, Sam Mcwhatsit, and Gran. ….Trish could be a possibility however James is down to the final of a rock competition and he plays on the night of the 24th – Dad and I are hoping to be back for then so we can go and give him out support – we did ask Stephen if he wanted to go however he asked James if it was Mosher Crap and James said it was so Stephens not going.

• Any Other Business

1) Do you need me to get you anything for when you go down to that place beginning with B that I cant remember but sounds like Boredom. I can get things if you need them so you don’t have to be running around all weekend (with a hangover)

2) I'm running in a 10K on Wednesday ha ha ha If I do it in less than one hour 30 ill be happy. Stephen is doing it as well but I think he just might finish before me :o) Ollie and his mum are also doing it and they will also finish before me – in fact if I don’t come in last ill be amazed, however at least I'm trying – and most of it is up hill.

3) It was four years ago today that we were sat in the slide and splash in Porgugal – and the bombs were going off in London - happy portuanniversery
