Back to Work

Well after 4 days off I feel ...... knackered!!

I suppose I should introduce myself on my first blog page. I’m a person who's never 'blogged' before however I did write a diary for a whole year back in 2000. I look back on it sometimes (which is a lie). Today, at 7am, sitting at my desk, I made a snap decision. A thought came into my head that said, why not write down some interesting aspects of your life so that others can share your experiences? Then I remembered that nothing much happens in my life so I figure if I have to be bored then you should be too..

My name is Dianne, I’m 44, married to John, 47 and we have three kids. Well I say kids one is my daughter Stacey who is 23 and still living at home! then I have twin boys who will be 21 tomorrow and its that which put the 'blogger' thought into my head. You see Mark (twin 2) is in the Army and he has been home for this Easter Weekend. I’ve just dropped him off at Leeds Station on his way back to Bassingbourne ….(I’m not sure but I think as I hugged him goodbye with the emotion of someone who is 44 he said something to me which sounded like 'get a grip mum' but maybe I’m hearing things) .... so he wont be around for his 21st and I cant get my head around that. Stephen (Twin 1) is home and will be around tomorrow which throws me into a dilemma. If I make a big fuss of Stephen tomorrow then that makes me feel bad for Mark because he will be in his barracks doing push ups! If I don’t make a big fuss of Stephen tomorrow then ill feel bad about him and punish myself for being a bad mother.......... I’m sure you get the picture. I will let you know my decision either when I decide or when I’m regretting my decision.
